Vintage Cold Steel Tanto

Sólstafir - Köld

-alone. Captivating. Intoxicating. Innovative. All adjectives that provide important clues to describe but one of the most exciting metal bands of our time are encountering: Sólstafir.
beginning of the year came after a long wait, finally the new work "Köld. And it is very clear that this band can not do anything wrong. It had fantastic predecessor "Masterpiece of Bitterness" set the bar pretty high. And the Icelanders did not even try on the same way to skip this. Rather, they finally abandoned the long-worn black metal paths and explore the off the road lying white spots on the musical map. Here, mix the heat of the desert rock, the cold blistering black metal guitar, post-rock elements and some of the best guitar riffs that you recently was allowed to listen to such a fantastic whole which is a missing just the words. Sólstafir send the / the listener on a trip from which you no longer want to come back so quickly.
Sólstafir succeeded with "Köld" one of the best metal albums of recent years. Each song seems to burst with creativity and sheer emotion, is considered by itself alone an unbeatable selling point. Examples are the wonderful title song, the rousing opener "78 days in the desert" (which this blog owes its name) or the almost potential hit "She destroys again" called.
If you should set this year, only a metal disc, then them.

are also provided Sólstafir from September on their first European tour and will be supported by Secrets of the moon and accompanied code. Tour dates are available on the band's MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/solstafir

How Does Ct Driver License Look Like

Carusella

Music from Israel? Those who fall since been a rapid on more than one or two bands? Well, the wonderful Aviv Geffen could one or the other to be through his work with Steven Wilson at Black Field a memorable one. But in Israel enjoys yes not for nothing absolute pop-star status. Very few, however, should the band Carusella be a household name.
woman Tahmar Aphek on guitar and Guy Shechter on drums create a sound storm that has washed himself. Founded after a performance of Dyse, they make no bones about their influences, from Motorhead to just about Shelter and Melvins Dyse. As the latter they have a couple more power than many established band that occurs with three guitarists. But unlike Dyse who keep trying to go off the beaten paths song structures to write Carusella straight, especially for the genre and damn catchy songs, like the outstanding "Star Quality" or the quasi-semi-ballad "You Say".
The icing on the cake is the unusual but great singing Tahmar Aphek, the Carusella again to stand out from the masses of similar bands.
Once again an outstanding evidence that a minimalist rock band often occupied in a better position to you is to wash the head than many other ...

What If Man Have Only One Testical

Headdress - Lunes

If you hang up this record for the first time, it is believed at first to hear even one of these various Earth copies. Typical minimalist drones, folk tinged guitar studies as they celebrated the above and more recently Steve Till Harvestman with his project. But somehow there seems still more to slumber beneath the surface, in the desolation of the barren desert night, which is here invoked again and again musically, there are always moments of warmth, light. ie, the height and center of the album "The lost white brother" can in this respect with a wonderful melody, w they are in this kind of music would have never expected to inspire very special.
A dark, mysterious, but also in its special way, a beautiful album.
